COCD steps toward a child safe organization

The project “COCD steps towards a child safe organization” was initiated following the training on child protection policy (CPP) conducted and funded by Terre des Hommes Netherland in August 2010. During the training, the nine minimum standards of the child safe organization were introduced. This is the government’s mechanism to certify organizations or institutions regarding child safe organization. It has been run and managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation (MoSVY) in cooperation with civil society (representatives of NGOs). Following the training, an action plan to develop CPP was designed by COCD’s team.
